DEBT

Treasury starts offer of new 6-year BTP Italia bond reserved
to retail investors, ends on Nov. 16; subject to early closure.

COMPANIES

AMPLIFON

Italian hearing aid maker Amplifon aims to exceed 2 billion
euros in revenues by the end of 2022, chief executive Enrico
Vita told newspaper Corriere della Sera on Sunday.

BANCO BPM

Davide Leone&Partners Investment, which owns 4.7% of Banco
BPM’s shares, believes merger deals involving UniCredit and
Credit Agricole would be the best way to ensure the bank’s
growth, the founder told newspaper la Repubblica on Sunday.

EDISON

Renato Ravanelli, head of Italian infrastructure fund
manager F2i, said it was premature to speak about utility Edison
SpA, which was bought by Electricite de France (Edf) in 2012,
returning under Italian control. In the longer term “its destiny
is inevitably Italian,” he told Corriere della Sera daily on
Saturday.

Ravanelli also said F2i was thinking about trying to create
an aggregation of numerous energy firms operating in various
sectors to create a “third Italian group” alongisde Eni and Enel
.

ENI

The first shipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG) produced
at the Coral gas field in Mozambique has departed from the Coral
Sul Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) facility, Italian
energy group Eni SpA said in a statement on Sunday.

An appeals court in Milan on Friday rejected Nigeria’s
$1.092 billion compensation request against Eni and Shell Plc in
civil proceedings relating to a $1.3 billion oilfield deal.

TELECOM ITALIA

A potential takeover of Telecom Italia by state lender Cassa
Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) is something that needs to be
extensively discussed within the government, Italy’s economy
minister said on Friday, signalling a cautious stance over such
a proposal.

Board meeting on Q3 results (sales data released on Oct.
13).

STELLANTIS

Stellantis’ Sevel van producing plant in Italy has halted
most of its operations until Tuesday due to parts shortage, UILM
union told Reuters on Sunday.
