Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin is seeking to end a handful of the Fed facilities that bought corporate bonds as well as the Main Street Lending Program targeted towards small- and medium-sized businesses. The move has drawn pushback from the central bank, which said the programs continue to serve an important role to support the vulnerable economy.

Crude oil prices trade up as vaccine hopes push bulls to out buy bears and drive prices up over $42, with crude oil prices settling around $42.15 toward the end of the trading session.  Natural gas price shoot up off cooler weather forecasted for early next week, a nice break from the constantly bearish weather reports that have dropped recently.  Natural gas prices currently trading around $2.664
